A statue will be built by the Devghatdham Conservation Foundation Chitwan in front of Rotary Karunalaya in the Bharatpur Municipality.
According to Dhiranbabu Ghimire, executive director of the committee, "a complete study report for the statue has already been primed by the Devghat Area Development Committee, and the establishment has been urged to build it."
He also added that the meticulous study report of Devghatdham built by the state government also includes a 30-foot tall octo-alloy Shiva idol, so the idol will be built on the land next to the Snanghat on the banks of the river below the Rotary Old Age Home.
Dhundiraj Silwal, president of the foundation, said that they have received assurances of support from the state government, Bharatpur metropolis, Devghat area development committee, and donors for the construction of the statue. The cost of constructing the statue is estimated at Rs. 6 crore. The statue will have a 30 foot height and an 8 foot thickness.
President Silwal informed that 3000 kg of copper, 2000 kg of brass, 200 kg of zinc, 25 kg of brass, 30 kg of lead, 500 grams of silver, 500 grams of gold, and 10 kg of iron will be used in the construction of the statue. The patron of the organizing group, Prakhar Bhagwat Bachak Acharya Balkrishna Aryal, stated that the statue will be erected with the intent of fostering tourism and highlighting the essence of Hinduism by retaining the ideal norms of Vedic religion._Rss
