Devotees come from Dharchula, Didihat Munsyari, Pipli, Askot Champawat, and Pithoragarh in Uttarakhand, India, including Darchula, Baitadi, Dadeldhura Bajhang Kailali, Kanchanpur in Sudurpaschim Province to see Shailyashikhar Dham, which is located in the border area of Mallikarjun Rural Municipality and Shailyashikhar Municipality of the district.

After the poojan Jatra is over at Shikhar Dham, a grand fair will be held at Mallikarjuna Temple tomorrow, Monday i.e. 21st Kartik.
During the Jatra, they entertain themselves by playing the Damah, a popular instrument of the Far West. Devotees circumambulate Damah Baja when they reach the beginning, and when it gets light, it is a custom to circumambulate the temple for the last time and leave the fair. During the night fair, hundreds of Zola Damahs and thousands of people come to see the fair.
