More importantly, the Jokhang Temple houses the one-of-a-kind treasure of world Buddhism. The Jokhang Temple is 1300 years old. Jokhang Temple has amazing architecture to observe as well. 

Yamdrok Lake 

Yamdrok Lake is a freshwater lake in Tibet, it is one of the three largest sacred lakes in Tibet. The lake has beautiful blue water and is surrounded by snow-capped mountains. There are various things to try such as hiking around the lake, bird watching, if you visit during autumn or winter as the small island in the lake, supports the birds’ migration. There are few monasteries and small towns around which you can visit. 

MT Kailash
