In Tokha, on the northern outskirts of the Kathmandu Valley, the renowned cultural event known as Bisket Jatra is currently taking place. On the first day of Nepali month Baisakh, the unusual festival had officially started. The Nepali New Year's Day, Baisakh 1, marks the beginning of the main five-day celebration each year.
