The Hyatt Place Kathmandu staged a tree-lighting ceremony to embrace the Christmas celebration on December 9 in its premises. The event was attended by ambassadors, esteemed business leaders, influencers, and media personnel, who all gathered together and enjoyed the Christmas grandeur.
The celebration was honoured as the commencement of the festive season with a Christmas theme, featuring sparkling lights, candles, chocolates, and gifts. The giant Christmas tree embellished with classic trinkets, shining tassels, and dazzling lights was the central attraction.
Adorable children dressed in traditional Nepalese attire captivated the guests with their choral performance, which added to the event's carnival atmosphere. Santa Claus thrilled the children who attended the celebration by dancing and having fun while distributing the chocolates. The event also had face painting, where youngsters were lured to it and had amazing artistry drawn on their faces.
Among the primary attractions was an edible gingerbread house where guests could personalise the bricks with their names for a donation of Rs. 100 to Autism Care Nepal, intended to assist those in need and as the reflection to be light to others.
The music, choirs, encounters with Santa Claus, and sumptuous feast highlighted the event's excitement.
