Holi is the celebration of colours, but mythologically, it is the jubilation at the triumph of good over evil. People applying colours on one another leads to bonding of mutual relationships.

Holi is all about having fun with colours and letting your hair down. The golden guideline for your Holi celebration is the more, the merrier. After all, Holi is a festival of friends, parties, and large celebrations. So, nobody wants to be alone on this day. To celebrate together and have a great time, we need the entire herd to show up. Here are some helpful tips to get the party rolling:

Play peppy music

Music from Bollywood and Hollywood, ideally on mixtapes, may get people moving and get the party started. Without a fantastic soundtrack prepared, a Holi party will never truly come to life. Ideally, a slight mishmash in the playlist will ensure that each guest hears at least one, if not more, of their favourite songs or artists. These are simple steps you can do to make sure your guests is at ease and comfortable during your party.

Put up the Holi decorations

After all, what would a Holi party be without decorations? Holi is usually associated with a lot of brilliant colours, shimmer, and glitter, among other things. It's crucial that the manner your party site is decorated captures the mood of the event. If you want a straightforward colour-themed Holi celebration, all you need to do is stock up on colourful streamers, costumes, and so on. Your ability to be creative is put to the test here.

What’s on the menu?!

What would a Holi party be without some delectable cuisine? We advise you to set aside a sizable portion of the cash for food and beverages because people typically recall parties for the chicken tandoories and reshmi paneers. Any concession made there could possibly make the party suck. Imagine having a beautiful location, lovely décor, and enjoyable music but not enough enticing food to keep the attendees fueled.

Can’t forget the Holi drinks. Let’s keep it decent, guys.

As for drinks, you might want to leave the choice for alcoholic beverages open because, after all, a Holi celebration wouldn't be complete without some bhaang, wouldn't you agree? If that ends up costing you a bit too much, you may just let them know about BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle) while inviting them so that you can focus on the cuisine and let the guests handle the drinks. If all of the guests are your close friends and/or family, this is an even better option.

White is also a colour.

The party goers can also set the clothing code for their Holi party as white, just how Bollywood celebrities kill it at all the Holi parties, whether in movies or in real life. Why not encourage your guests to bring inexpensive, white cotton garments for the Holi party at your house since white outfits will show off all the colours the best.

Happy Holi, folks!
