Himalayan Airlines published a CSR Report outlining their CSR initiatives for 2020-2021 at a press conference hosted at Radisson on August 3, 2022. A comprehensive video outlining H9's CSR initiatives was also presented at the conference.
The CSR Report was released by Ujjwala Dali, Head of Department - Brand and Rajesh Prasad Shrestha, Head of Maintenance and Engineering Department, amidst the national and international media fraternity.
Himalaya Airlines has been dynamically committed to CSR initiatives since its inception and has always been keen to collaborate with stakeholders to help navigate the future growth of a safe and sustainable air transport industry.
On releasing the report, Dali shared, “Past two years have been challenging for everyone as COVID-19 pandemic disrupted lives and overturned businesses and economies worldwide. We, at Himalaya, didn’t just try our best to keep the business running but also to keep our commitment for the betterment of the society by making significant contributions in all possible ways.”
She further added, “Overall growth and social welfare are two key facets of our business to which we consistently commit ourselves to secure a growth-oriented future trajectory of our business.”
The CSR Report provides an overview of H9’s performance and the company’s CSR highlights concerning five key areas—contribution to economic prosperity, environmental sustainability, societal responsibility, operational highlights, and quality management system.
