It is also great for morning exercise hikes. There are multiple trails you can take with rough roads, old trails, or you can probably make your own trail.

If you happen to be in Banepa or Dhulikhel for a few days, a must-visit destination is Gosaithan Hill, located to the east of Banepa city. Hiking to the top of the hill offers breathtaking views that will invigorate your senses. On clear days, you can see waves of smaller hills extending to the far end of the horizon and even glimpse mountains to the northeast. The cool breeze will refresh your lungs and leave you feeling alive. It's a great spot for an early morning hike or workout.

The summit of Gosaithan Hill stands at an altitude of 1700m above sea level. To reach the top, you will need to walk about 3 km through Budol village and gain an elevation of about 250m. This trek should take you approximately 30–60 minutes to complete.

One of the most fascinating features of the trail is the view that greets you at the top. The eastern view appears to be a complete drop-off, with no hills obstructing the sight for miles. The view of the wave of smaller hills extending to the horizon is truly breathtaking.

Once you reach the top, you can climb the stairs to the viewing tower for an even better view of the scenery. On clear mornings, you may catch glimpses of the mountains to the north and watch a stunning sunrise in the east.

The trail is also great for a morning exercise hike, with multiple options ranging from rough roads to old trails or even creating your own path. You can choose how much pressure you want to put on your body or how fast you want to reach the top. Just next to the staircase leading to the view tower, there is an outdoor exercise setup with monkey bars and pull-up bars to test your strength. The stunning scenery makes it addictive to visit regularly.

However, be warned that there aren't many buildings nearby, and the hill is surrounded by dense forests in all directions. There are two picnic spots on either side of the hill, but there is no water source or bathroom. Therefore, it is advisable to take precautions before venturing alone
