To welcome Christmas season, an extensive list of dried fruits with spices, herbs, wine, beer, rum, and whiskey was blended and soaked
On November 12, 2022, the Radisson Hotel Kathmandu hosted a Fruit Soaking event customarily held to mark the beginning of Christmas and winter festivities. The event was held on the fourth floor’s Terrace Garden, with female professionals from various industries joining to celebrate the pairing.
The ceremony was opened by Radisson’s General Manager, Subrata Banerjee, who welcomed and thanked all invitees and media outlets for attending. Sunal Thakur, the Executive Chef, continued the event by quickly outlining the fruit-soaking event’s history and mixing process.
The guests blended the extensive list of dried fruits with spices, herbs, wine, beer, rum, and whiskey while adhering to the Chef’s instructions. To obtain the authentic taste and flavour of Christmas cake, it is generally accepted that fruits be soaked and combined more than a month in advance.
The hotel’s chefs created a delectable feast as a memento of the festivities that perfectly captured the spirit and joy of Christmas. Everyone took part in making the gathering pleasant and enjoyable.
