As part of the hotel's Corporate Social Responsibility an afternoon tea decadence was held at The Blvd, Hotel Royal Singi as a fundraiser in support of 'Days for Girls, Nepal'.

An afternoon tea decadence was held at The Blvd, Hotel Royal Singi featuring a Pastry Chef from India – Rumana Jaseel. Chef Rumana Jaseel is an Indian Pastry Chef who has her own company – Incredible Art. Incredible Art is a Patisserie, Cake Boutique and an academy focusing on creativity, professionalism and teaching. Incredible art, being a pioneer brand in French Pastry at Cochin it has been two years since she started her first patisserie, specialising in French Pastry products at Kochi, a dessert bar in the heart of Kochi and has a few more upcoming plans in the loop in a few years to come.

The 2 day event was held as a fundraiser in support of 'Days for Girls, Nepal'. All the proceeding from the fundraiser event will be used for their project in Shree Amar Jyoti Janata Secondary School, Gorkha. DfG is a global movement founded in 2008 by American woman Celeste Mergens and founded in Nepal in 2016, dedicated in proving proper menstrual health awareness and distributing sustainable menstrual health solutions. The hotel was able to integrate the event with DfG with the help of Manita Devkota, Miss Nepal Universe 2018.

The hotel will then make the same Afternoon Tea available on the menu as of October 15th until March 15th [available from 2-5pm]

- Reservations will have to be made 24 hours prior in advance so the items can be prepared fresh

- 15% of the proceeds will then be donated to DFG on a quarterly basis as part of the continued CSR
