Sincerely presenting authentic Indian cuisine, Hotel Annapurna prepares for the Jasan-e-Kabab festival starting from December 6, Friday at Ghar-e-Kabab

The name Ghar-e-Kabab evokes memories of authentic Indian taste from people who went there at its yesteryears. Home to the wonders of the Mughal kitchen, Ghar-e-Kabab is consistently rated the best Indian restaurant in Kathmandu. Step in and you are immediately surrounded by timeless elegance. The rich colours, fine fabrics and the glow of the tableware provide the perfect backdrop for fine dining accompanied each evening by the live mellow sounds of ghazals, old and new.

An amazing cook with tens of years of experience, Chef Rezi Alam Khan worked at Ghar-e-kabab since 1981 till 2017. Brought back due to popular demand, Chef Rezi is set to dazzle everyone with sophisticated and mouth-watering dishes at the upcoming festival.

“We, at the hotel, firmly believe in celebrations. There is always something to celebrate out here. In today’s celebrations, we are welcoming our extremely talented chef, Rezi Alam Khan back for the duration of the Kabab Food Festival. Chef Rezi was the person who truly made Ghar-e-Kabab what it is today. A testament to his skills are his recipes which are even followed today. Our idea was to bring him back again so that we could check and maintain the standard that he set in the restaurant.”, said Raju Bikram Shah, CEO of the Annapurna Group of Hotels.

Tripurari Singh, the Food and Beverage Director also added, “Food is all about techniques, right ingredients, consistency and steady presentation. A master of techniques, Chef Rezi is working on some specific new items for the festival. With a menu boasting many exciting dishes, we cater to every person’s need may it be vegetarian or non-vegetarian.”

Starting on December 6 and lasting till December 15, the Jasan-e-Kabab festival not only includes kabab items but also other dishes such as Shorbas, Aloo Firdausi, Paneer Parda Nashi and Sikandari Raan. The festival at Ghar-e-kabab is set to be different from other kabab festivals due to the immense amount of experience honed through years and years of trials and errors.

Come and experience dishes at the Jasan-e-Kabab festival for lunch and dinner from 12:30 pm to 10:00 pm; it will make your taste buds sing in delight!
