Soaltee Crowne Plaza organised their annual Cake Mixing Ceremony on November 27
All set for Christmas celebration Soaltee Crowne Plaza hosted a sensational Cake Mixing Ceremony. The hotel’s stakeholders, corporate partners and media were invited to the fun event.
The Cake Mixing tradition is about bringing people together, sharing happiness and utilising the abundance of the harvest season. It has its own history and over time, has become an inseparable part of Christmas celebrations and hotel events. Cake-mixing is a harbinger of good tidings and happiness.
Executive Chef Yubaraj and his team put together elaborate ingredients such as dried fruits and nuts, ground spice powders and an array of alcoholic beverage for the mixing. Traditionally after the mixing is done the mixture is preserved well until Christmas time when it is ready for baking and distributing to friends, family and relatives. In that context, General Manager of Soaltee Crowne Plaza, Upaul Majumdar said that all the guests present for the mixing would be sent a Christmas cake.
The event was followed by the guests mingling over a glass of mulled wine or fresh juice. An extravagant spread of delicious dishes from various cuisines was available for the guest to savour along with their drinks.
