Best Time to Trek

The Poon Hill Ghandruk trek beckons adventurers throughout the year, each season offering a unique perspective. Optimal trekking conditions and clear mountain vistas characterize spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November). Mild temperatures, low rainfall, and vibrant rhododendron blooms create an ideal setting, with temperatures ranging from 5 to 15 °C on Ghorepani Poon Hill.

Summer (June to August) brings warmer temperatures but coincides with the monsoon, resulting in wet and slippery trails. Despite the rain, lush landscapes and blooming flora add a distinct charm. Autumn mirrors spring's allure, with moderate temperatures, clear skies, and golden landscapes, while winter (December to February) brings colder temperatures, occasional snowfall, and the clearest mountain views. Experienced trekkers seeking tranquility may favor winter, appreciating the crisp air and unhurried trails. Each season unfolds a unique facet of this trek, making Poon Hill Ghandruk an enticing destination year-round.
