Twenty five years in the tourism industry by Hotel Royal Singi is quite an achievement, following the drastic events such as the civil insurgency and the pandemic

Hotel Royal Singi celebrates its 25th anniversary of providing top-notch services in the hospitality industry in Kathmandu on January 20th, 2023. An impressive array of dignitaries, dependable and devoted partners, including travel and tour operators as well as corporations and business establishments, attended this occasion.

The CEO of the Nepal Tourism Board, Dhanajaya Regmi, was welcomed by the Chairman of the Hotel Royal Signi, Mr. Tashi Ghale, with a bouquet and khada (silk prayer scarves). Doctor Sanduk Ruit, His Excellency Vosita Vorasaph, the Thai ambassador to Nepal, and Sunil Bahadur Thapa were also present in the event.

The panas lighting session was done by Dhananjaya Regmi, the CEO of Nepal Tourism Board. After the lighting session, they revealed the hotel’s 25 year anniversary video, and speeches were made by Dignitaries, the Chairman of the hotel and the guests of honour, followed by the Associate Loyalty Certificate Distribution Ceremony.

The 25th Anniversary celebration’s logo was particularly unique, which focuses on three important themes, tradition, our culture and values, and evolution, which illustrate the adjustments, upgrades, and renovations the hotel has done, and the legacy, which has persisted throughout generations. Surya Bahadur Thapa, the late honourable Prime Minister, inaugurated the hotel on January 28, 1998.

They displayed a presentation of before-and –after images and videos of the hotel to demonstrate the changes. After renovation, the hotel currently includes 95 deluxe and executive rooms, 5 signature suites, 4 custom residences, which have 2 bedroom apartments, 3 food and beverages outlets, and over 5 refined and exquisite events and conference spaces. It also includes rooftop spas and a fitness centre, and 4th F & B is also in the plan which may open at the end of this year. When the hotel first opened, it had 85 rooms, 1 meeting hall, and 2 outlets.

“Our 25th anniversary is a time to thank each and every one of our guests, associates and stakeholders who have made this milestone possible. I would like to express my appreciation and gratitude to all travel and trekking operators, airlines, business and corporate houses, banks and financial institutions, government bodies and associations for their loyal support over the years. Now the focus is on the future. The lodging and travel industry offers tremendous opportunities over the long-term and we are ready for the next 25 years and beyond,” Mr. Tashi Ghale, Chairman of Hotel Royal Singi expresses his belief in the event.
