The NATTA Banke Chapter announced this by organizing a four-day 'Tour Product Development and Ticketing' training which started in collaboration with the Natta Center and Livelihood Revival Project for Sustainable Tourism.
At the event, Bhaskar Kafle, President of Lumbini Province of Federation of Hoteliers, Krishna Prasad Shrestha, Coordinator of Tourism Promotion Forum Banke, Dilliram Regmi, Vice President of Natta Banke, Pawan Vikram Singh, President of Sudurpaschim, Kamal Dangi, Secretary of Nepal Journalists Federation Banke, former President Jhalak Gayre said that the development of the tourism sector is inevitable.
30 tour operators from Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces are participating in the training. Natta Central Secretary Yuvika Bhandari and Sunil Dahal are facilitating the training.
“The training will be effective in preparing skilled manpower in the field of tourism and said that the shortage of skilled manpower has increased in the field of tourism after the covid-19. Such training have been started in different places of the country under the plan of Nepal Tourism Board to reduce the shortage,” said Yuvika Bhandari, Central Secretary of Natta.
“Tourism can become a strong and permanent base for the country's economy. The role of the private sector in the development of the country's economy and there will be uniformity in the tour package made by the tourism professionals of the three provinces after the training.” Said Prashant Bista, Head of Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City.
