Following the pandemic, there were fewer foreign visitors in the Annapurna region, but now a large number of tourists are making their way there.
The best time of year to travel is now, and visitors are taking advantage of that to go trekking, which has, in turn, assisted local business owners in generating revenue.
According to the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP), a total of 7,213 foreign tourists have traveled the Annapurna circuit since January 2022. 150 to 200 trekkers visit the Annapurna conservation area every day.
The majority of tourists visiting the Annapurna trail are from Germany, France, Australia, Britain, Israel, and the United States.
The circuit provides trekkers with expansive views of mountain ranges and tall hills, as well as the opportunity to learn about and take in the customs and traditions of the Manang people.
The best time to trek in the Annapurna region is from September to November and February to April.
