Lakuri Bhanjyang, a hill station located in the eastern edge of the Lalitpur district just 15 kilometers up from Kathmandu valley, which is one of the preferable place to see great view of major cities of Nepal like Kathmandu, Bhaktapur & Lalitpur. It is an ideal picnic spot and has recently been opened for paragliding as well, so it is also s perfect place for those with an adventurous spirit. People from Kathmandu and Lalitpur frequently enjoy picnics on this land with a 360-degree panoramic view.

Biking in Lakuri Bhanjyang,

Lakuri Bhanjyang biking route is very favorable for Biking adventure. The route is a 30km long trail interfacing Patan to Lakuri Bhanjyang. It is arranged as a middle of the road level biking trail. The whole Lakuri Bhanjyang biking package gives you an enormous opportunity to experience its road with an amazing ride against the wind. It is a unique form of adventure within the valley.

Trekking in Lakuri Bhanjyang,

Lakuri Bhangyang trekking is one of the most scenic spots in Lalitpur district and is renowned for its spectacular views of the Himalayan ranges, spectacular sunrise view and the snow capped mountains. This is sort of cityscape from all the hustle-bustle as  the hike goes past the beautiful village of Ranikot, which commands the majestic mountain panorama during the clear days. The route or trail towards this fantastic place is scarcely populated and very scenic. One can enjoy the beautiful views of the countryside, terraces and the day-to-day life of the locals inhabiting the area.

Getting there,

Public buses are available from Lagankhel, Lalitpur up to Lakuri Bhanjyang. You can also have a ride on a two-wheeler, bike or a scooter to reach Lakuri Bhanjyang via Imadol – Lamatar Road which normally  takes around half an hour to reach. Traveling via a four-wheeler vehicle might consume a bit more time considering the traffic density. 
For hikers, it might take 2 to 3 hours depending upon the speed off-course and how much one likes to enjoy on the way.
