Indulge in the Asian Food Promotion at The Café, Hyatt Regency
To celebrate the rich diversity of Asian cuisines Hyatt Regency is hosting their Asian Food Promotion from June 12-20 at their popular outlet The Café. This gives local foodies and food connoisseurs an opportunity to enjoy the flavours of South East Asia.
The food promotion will feature 80 different cuisines from 5 different countries, offering something new every day. The live sushi bar offers patrons an opportunity to indulge in Japanese food. The Japanese steam buns stuffed with mincemeat is an interesting appetiser and a total treat.
The soup changes every day with an option for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The Indonesian cuisine is interesting and one should try the Gado Gado salad which is a vegetable salad with peanut sauce and boiled eggs. Apart from that the salad section has an amazing array of salads and you could also choose the Thai Prawn Salad which is rich in ingredients and flavours. The lamb Coscos and the Grilled Vegetables with Asian Spices are also some of the dishes that you should not miss.
There are live stalls serving Seafood and Vegetable Tempura, San Choy Bow which is a Chinese Lettuce Wrap and Teriyaki where the chicken is broiled or grilled with a glaze of Teriyaki sauce, mirin, and sugar.
One of the highlights of the menu is Nasi Goreng, the famous Indonesian fried rice accompanied with chicken satay, peanut sauce, prawn crackers and served with a fried egg on top. The squid in lemon grass is interesting and has a distinct Thai taste that will delight your palate.
The dessert options are quite ample and you could either choose the Tub Tim Grob, a Thai dessert made with water chestnut, coconut milk, rosewater and sugar or go for the ever popular Mango Sticky Rice which is made with sticky rice, coconut milk, sugar and mango.
Along with the wide variety of South East Asian cuisines, there are also Indian food items to choose from.
