Exclusively prepared by Executive Sous Chef Mohan Sijapati and his team, the menu for this festival allows you to experience authentic Chinese cuisine at Nepal.  From pungent soups and captivating main course delicacies to delectable desserts—this menu has it all. This specially designed menu awaits you at Sunrise restaurant from February 15 to February 17. If you wish to get a glimpse of this authentic Chinese cuisine then visit the restaurant during their lunch hours ( 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm).

As you enter the restaurant, the ambience strikes you with quite a festive impact. The restaurant’s interior is filled with mosaic lamps, beautiful Chinese decor, and graceful wall decorations that have been set the room for the spring festival. The restaurant’s vibrant red hue, which represents the ideals of the spring festivals—good fortune, longevity and happiness—adorns the Chinese decor.

Overlooking the beautiful garden and a lavish pool, Sunrise Restaurant is one of the few fine dining Restaurants that serve luxurious buffets as well as ambrosial a-la-carte. There is a different menu for lunch and dinner so that the guests can enjoy the best of Chinese cuisine. The buffet consists of eight dishes and amongst the eight dishes, you can find one of their seven lucky food that represents the values of the Chinese new year. The seven lucky food include Noodles that represent happiness and longevity, Dumpling and spring rolls - wealth, Tangyuan (sweet rice balls) – family togetherness, Nian Gao (glutinous rice cake) – higher income or status, Fish – an increase in prosperity. Aside from this, the wonton soup is a pungent broth that will surely blow your taste buds. Additionally, Sunrise Restaurant has a wide array of desserts that will satisfy your sweet tooth—the Dates Pan Cake being a fan favourite.
