Kathmandu celebrates Nepali New Year's Eve

On 13th of April, Friday the people of Kathmandu celebrated Nepali New Year Eve in many popular places of the town. This year the Nepali New Year Eve was celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm and energy, this clearly shows that the nightlife scene in the country is growing. 

 Nepali New Year is an official public holiday in Nepal, which is celebrated with parades, feasts, and family reunions. Since Nepali New Year is seen as a deeply religious holiday, various religious rites and a hope for blessings in the year ahead are a big part of the holiday’s meaning. 

The partygoers welcomed 2075 with a blast. The whole city was lighted up because of New Year's. 

Hotel Yak and Yeti celebrated the festive by incorporating Nepali music into their program 

Hotel Radisson celebrated it by presenting folk dance to add an authentic feel 

Octave Kathmandu had live music performances, that made audiences dance to their feet.
